6- Put the lighter away
7- Make sure the fire is blue
8- Now use the woollen glove to slide across the fire
9- If the woollen glove is not burnt, then you should be ready to try it on your hands

The First Science Experiment Is What We Are Doing.

to change the colour put these powdered elements Orange is calcium chloride
light orange is sodium chloride
yellow is barium chloride
red is strontium chloride of strontium nitrate
apple green is borax
hot pink is lithium chloride
blue is copper chloride , butane
green is copper sulfate ,doric acid
violet is 3 parts of potassium sulfate and 1 part of potassium nitrate

Results:
In these videos we are  setting hand sanitizer on fire and putting different chemicals on the hand sanitizer and it was changing the colour . the chemicals changed the colour of the flames

Discussion: fire changed colour using a flamble liquid because when the positive and negative charged atoms are absorbed by the electrons the energy eventually they release energy when they go back in place the positive atoms release protons of light the colour depends on the chemical that is in the fuel or the air around the flame this is used for fire works.
the chemicals that are normally powdered transition metals.
My under standing of it is there is multiple blocks on the periodic table on the s block there is one layer and it can have up to 2 electrons then there is p block that can hold 6 electrons then there is d block that is able to hold up to 10 electrons when these are all combined there can be up to 18 electrons
Evaluation: it went went well the only problem was there was not enough fully burn the chemicals

Limerick

A limerick is a short poem with 5 line the first second and 5 lines have to have 7 - 10 syllables. The 3rd and 4th have 5 - 7 syllables.

Sea Critters die as garbage floats away

The same size as texas we will pay

For the disaster from us

Some people think its a fuss

As the patch grows will we let it lay.

Sea and land life dies as oil is mined

Natural gas and coal is hard to find

Geothermal and solars

Does not affect the polars

Now nothing can be timed

I make the word polars

Finding Drinking Water

Finding Drinking Water

Purpose:
I want to be able to turn salty ocean water into drinkable water

Research:

Making Ocean Water Drinkable by King of Random

Bottle Distillation by Nighthawk Light

Aim:
I want to find out how to separate the salt from the salty water.

Equipment:
  • two empty beer bottles
  • bunsen burner
  • salt water
  • stand and clamps
  • metal tray pans
  • Sand
  • damp rag

Method:
  1. Put some salt water into a empty beer bottle be able to turn it on its side with out the water coming out.
  2. Put one pan above the bunsen burner and the other the same height
  3. Put sand in the trays
  4. put the bottles firmly in the sand
  5. wet the sand with the bottle in the not above the flame and put the damp rag on the bottle
  6. turn on the fire on
  7. wait about 15 minutes
Prediction:
it will lose most of the water

Results:
it work well and we got fresh water here are pics

Conclusion:
do not use aluminium trays or foll next time be cause when it is above the flame it will burn and sand will fall out the hole

Evaluation:
it worked well but it was very flimsy to put the mouths together I would consider doing it again
