Calendar Art 2015

This is my calendar art. It is a tree. First I drew the tree with pencil then I went over it with vivid. To blend the colours I had to smudge the pastel with my finger or a tissue .

Digi Awards

During term 2 we learnt about heroes in our inquiry. We learnt about different types of heroes.

I did a single photo for my Digi Awards entry. I went took lots of photos of my everyday hero, my mum, using different camera angels. I got feedback on my photos to try and improve the image. When taking the photo I had to make sure I had good lighting.

I learnt that it needs a plain background and appropriate lighting.

This is my finished 3D hand art. First I had to trace around my hand. After that I had to do straight lines from one side to the other. When I got to the hand I had make it curved.S o it looked like my hand is above the paper. Then I went over the lines with vivid and then I coloured it in.

Hero Rap

In writing we did an everyday personal hero rap we had to write hero words in the back of our books and find some rhyming words. Here is my rap.

Hero Rap/Poem

An everyday hero is ordinary

And is someone extraordinary.

They are polite and caring

And likes sharing.

They are responsible

And are remarkable

Basically everyday

Including  today

Heroes give up most of their times

And are as bright as a star shines

They always show their values

Even in queues

My mum is hero she nice and happy

And is not snappy

Aim: I want to make a simple vege garden

Equitment:
scissors
egg carton
soil
seed of your choice

Method:
1 Get egg carton and fill it with soil
2 Put a hole with your index finger
3 Put a seed in and cover it with soil
4 Water it daily but do not drown it
5 wait for it to sprout
6 plant it in the garden
